QUANTITY SURVEYOR (FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

BSc. Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised University/Institute with minimum of Five (05) years of experience in the field of Quantity Surveying OR

Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying from a recognised University/Institute with minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in the field of Quantity Surveying

Age preferably below 45 years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of BOQs/Drawings of all the relocations, refurbishments, and digitalisation work by inspecting the respective branches

Evaluation of tenders and approving suitable material for the work

Supervision and quality controlling through frequent visits

Progress monitoring and preparation of progress

reports for monthly progress meetings

Obtaining final measurements and checking final bills of all the work

Preparation of SSR’s for additional/extra works including time extension claims

OTHER COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Ability to work long hours/weekends whenever necessary and to travel distance locations

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to prepare BOQ’s for electrical/mechanical work

Ability to prepare layout drawings by using AutoCAD

Ability to use MS Project and MS Power Point for progress monitoring and presenting

Strong Managerial and leadership skills

Project Management skills and effective problem-solving skills
