MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Lalan Rubbers – Agri Division, the plantation arm of Lalan Group of Companies is on the lookout for a dynamic professional to join our team based in our Colombo Head Office to fill the captioned vacancy.

Job Profile:

Prepare budgets, variance analyses, commentaries to management, and providing support to make financial decisions.

Provide new ideas to develop the business procedures and drive business performance.

Product/Service costing, pricing, and evaluation of product/service performance.

Analyse financial performance, support business planning, and forecasting.

Advise on financial implications of business decisions, and support the formulation of business strategies.

Monitor financial information systems, and mitigate risks by ensuring compliance with financial controls and processes.

To provide information and statistics required by external agencies, in a timely manner.

Maintain good rapport with all internal/external stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

Professional qualifications in ACCA (UK), or CIMA, (UK), or CA Sri Lanka, or CMA Sri Lanka or a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Commerce.

A minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience.

Excellent problem-solving skills, an ability to pay attention to details/accuracy in management/financial reports, and experience in financial software tools.

Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
