LEGAL OFFICER

Job Profile

Analyze files referred to legal department and decide on appropriate cause of action.

Drafting legal documents including LODs, plaints, answers, decrees, writs etc.

Appearing before courts, labour tribunals and arbitration proceedings.

Negotiate settlements and take steps to speedily conclude proceeding in favor of the Company.

Drafting and attesting Notarial documents.

Candidate Profile

Preferably a male candidate Below 35 years of age.

Attorney at Law and Notary Public.

Minimum 3 years post qualifying experience in a similar capacity at a Bank, Finance company. reputed Legal Firm or with a reputed senior lawyer.

Computer literacy and proficiency in Sinhala and English typing.

Shall posses Notarial license (Sinhala and English) to practice in Colombo district.

Self motivated with strong intepersonal skills..

Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
