VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT LEGAL INTERN

We are a top-tier law firm looking to recruit a Legal Intern to exclusively work, on a secondment basis, with one of our multinational clients in Colombo.

Please note that this is a short-term contract for a period of 6 months commencing from 1st April 2024

The ideal candidate should have the following considerations:

1. Be pursuing an LLB or enrolled at Law College (or an equivalent education background). Alternate fields of study may be considered if the candidate demonstrates a strong interest in legal work.
2. Preferred age-21 years or over.
3. The ability to carry out research work, liaising with external and internal stakeholders, maintenance and updating of legal trackers and other administrative work as shall be identified and conveyed from time to time.
4. The ability to read and understand contracts will be an added benefit but is not an essential requirement.
5. Necessary attributes Attention to detail. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
6. Service requirement – full time on office site.
