EXECUTIVE QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE
The selected applicant is required to ensure that all the quality assurance policies, procedures and systems are fully implemented and monitored and ensure such procedures and systems are standardized and followed across the organization. The jobholder should also ensure that our business policies and procedures, products, services, vendors and subcontractors meet all required certifications, engineering, and customer quality standards including compliance with all accredited certifications, the plant is certified to. Job duties of the position in brief are as given below.
- Assist in developing and managing processes to ensure that the products manufactured meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for the products the company manufactures.
- Identify and analyze quality issues, contaminations, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur and recommend and facilitate solutions to such issues.
- Review client, customer and user complaints and feedback.
- Maintain compliance with state, local, and organizational regulations, guidelines, and policies (SLSI, CEA, Labour Dept, Consumer Affairs etc.)
- Assist the Management Representative over further development/modifications, establishing such developments and maintaining the following ISO Systems and Certifications of the organization.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System / ISO 14001:2015 Environ: Management System ISO 45001:2015 Occupational Health & Safety Management System / ISO 50001: 2018 Energy Management System
ISO 14064-1:2016 Green House Gas Assertion System/Carbon Neutral Certification 7. Plan and conduct internal audits as per Audit plans.
- Ensure that all required compliances and necessary infrastructures are in place in accordance with the various compliance audit requirements.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in science or equivalent qualification
Diploma Level Qualification in Quality Management will be a definite plus
2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role attached to a reputed manufacturing organization.
Thorough and hands on knowledge and experience over the quality systems and other certifications
given above
Self-driven individual with excellent analytical skills and eve for detail
Very Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Sinhala.
