Charted Accountant
Location: Ekala, Ja-ela / Colombo
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Chartered Accountant to oversee the financial well-being of our company and it’s clientele and to train team members in the relevant areas.
Responsibilities

• Provide financial information to management by analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Prepares final accounts by compiling and analyzing account information.
  Record financial transactions by entering information.
  Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Compliance with legal requirements and regularities.
  Analyzing new business opportunities viability
  Preparing Project Reports for shortlisted expansion projects
  Maintaining relationships with Banking community for financing of the shortlisted expansion projects
  Requirements and skills
  Charted fully qualified or CIMA fully qualified (Recently qualified ACA)
  Experience in Financial modeling and Advanced MS Excel skills is a must
  Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  Age below 45 years
  Proven work experience at a middle management finance department in a large sized Manufacturing company
  Familiarity with taxation work
  ⚫ Strong leadership abilities and teamwork orientation
• Expertise in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software
  ⚫ Sound knowledge of MS Office applications; familiarity with Google Suite
• Superior communication skills; English native speakers preferred
  Positive and humble attitude
  ⚫ Strong personal ethics and high integrity, with the ability to manage confidential data
