ASSISTANT FACTORY MANAGER – ICL BRANDS

ICL Brands (Private) Limited is in the sphere of manufacturing and marketing a wide range of personal care products. ICL Brands are market leaders in sanitary napkins, other feminine hygiene products, male and female grooming products including colognes, af- tershaves, hair gels & creams, shaving cream & foam, deodorants, talcum powder and other creams. The Company also leads the adult diaper market in Sri Lanka and offers a range of baby care products. It also markets Tea and Coffee as well as Ayurveda products such as cough syrup and hair oil.
Position of Assistant Factory Manager reporting to the Factory Director has responsibility and accountability for the Manufacturing function, which will include people and budgetary management. He or she will be part of the management team which determines all business decisions and holds strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, maximising efficiency, optimising production levels and driving operational excellence.
We are seeking a high performing individual for immediate recruitment for our factory.
BSc Degree in Manufacturing / Engineering from a reputed university with minimum 5 years of industrial ex- perience in a FMCG / Manufacturing Industry
MSc or MBA holders will have an added advantage
- Must have exposure in an ISO and GMP environment
Six Sigma / Black belt preferred
- Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets
Develop metrics and frameworks (measurements) to benchmark current practices, devise and implement updated systems and processes
- Collaboration across functions and HR Management
- Guide continuous productivity improvements and safety practices
- Experience in an ERP system such as SAP is an added qualification
