VACANCY FOR STORES OFFICER

Jafferjee & Sons (Pvt) Ltd is involved in Tea exports. We are currently seeking an experienced Stores Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in storekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the reception, storage, dispatch and daily management of stocks.

Check the conformity of products received and delivered.

Inform the management of inventories: control of rotation of goods, verification of their availability.

Responsible for checking hygiene condition of food handlers as per ISO standards.

Responsible for maintaining condition of factory and surrounding as per ISO standards.

Preparation prop/trial samples.

Submit blend balance samples.

Responsible for sending tea and packing materials, and collecting balanced tea and packing materials once the shipment is completed.

Responsible for monthly/annual stock taking.

Responsible for issuing GRNs and gate passes on a daily basis.

Responsible for loading and unloading activities without any damages while verifying the gross weights & suitability of the products.

Overlooking tea blending and other related functions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Knowledge of bookkeeping and inventory management.

Previous experience in warehousing, inventory control, or storekeeping, preferably within the tea and other food manufacturing industry.

Fluent in English.

Competencies in data entry.

Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time..
