Job Description

Key purpose of the Job

The Intern Garment Technologist is tasked with coordinating and offering technical support for the designated products/styles. This involves understanding customer requirements, conducting risk assessments during development, estimating consumption costs, developing patterns, coordinating sample development and fit sessions, obtaining sample approvals, and providing support for the handover of developed styles to Production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with understanding customer requirements and coordinating for pre-sample development, including tasks such as risk assessment, consumption costing, and validation processes.

2. Assisting with coordinating internal and external stakeholders to achieve sample development On-Time Delivery (OTD) and customer satisfaction objectives.

3. Assisting in collaborating with the relevant internal teams for the effective production handover of developed styles.. 

Education

Undergraduate in the field of Fashion Design or Textile Technology from a recognized university/institute

Experience

Sound understanding of pattern making will be advantageous.

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
