Trainee Commercial Assistant

As a Trainee Commercial Assistant, you will be responsible for learning and assisting in various aspects of the commercial operations within a company. This role is designed to provide hands-on training and development in commercial activities, including procurement, logistics, and compliance. You will work closely with experienced commercial officers and gain valuable experience in the field.

Po Profile

Assist in sourcing and procuring goods and services required for the company’s operations.

Learn to negotiate with suppliers, review purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery.

Learn about import/export regulations and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

Support compliance with trade laws and company policies.

Assist in managing stock levels, tracking inventory, and ensuring stock accuracy. Gain knowledge of the transportation and distribution

process

Assist in the tracking of financial transactions related to commercial activities.

Prepare reports and data analysis on commercial activities.

Personal Profile

Good results in GCE A/L and Commerce and Maths streams are preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Basic knowledge of commercial and business processes.

Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks.

Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office, including MS Word/Excel/ PowerPoint.

Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from superiors.
