POST OF TEMPORARY RESEARCH ASSISTANT Human Genetics Unit

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo is calling applications from the qualified candidates for the following vacancies.

This is a contract position. Initially the appointment shall be for a period of 06 (six) months The positions may be renewed for a maximum of another 18 months based on performance. and need, during the period of the operation.

POST OF TEMPORARY RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Required Qualifications:

(1) Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized University.

AND

(II) Master of Science from a recognized University

Note

Excellent command of spoken and written English

Good IT skills

Preference would be given to Candidates who wish to upgrade PhD studies at the Human Genetics Unit.

SALARY AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT:

b. Salary

Basic Salary – Rs. 49.860/= p.m. plus cost-of-living allowance and applicable UPF and ETF will be paid (as at 01-01-2020)
