We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join Cinnamon Grand Colombo. Cinnamon Hotel & Resorts is Sri Lanka’s largest hotel owner portfolio of 15 hotels and resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives Adding to its portfolio, the much-anticipated project valued at 1 Billion USD Cinnamon Life Integrated resort, will be opening soon. Cinnamon Grand is a member of John Keells Group, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
• Informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
• Carrying out investigations.
•
Communicate effectively and efficiently with external agencies including police, fire authorities, and other related services.
The ideal candidate should possess
• The minimum qualification is G.C.E. O/Ls. Those who have 2 passes for G.C.E. A/Ls will be given priority.
• Having previous experience in the Police or Armed forces will be considered as an added advantage.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

A strong understanding of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
•
The ability to keenly observe and identify potential security threats.
·
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
•
A professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees and visitors.
· Ability to perform security patrols and respond to emergencies.
