JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a passionate, energetic, customer centric and self-motivated person who is able to manage our property and our restaurant, increase customer satisfaction, increase our sales and build our reputation locally & worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
HOTEL RESIDENCE & FRONT DESK MANAGER
Guest relations: welcome & assist guests, guest registration; guest check-in and check out
Manage sales and reservations online with booking engines and direct clients/travel agents.
Market the property; visit travel agents/hotels to promote property, participate in fairs, create brochures,
promote & manage events Increase sales and meet monthly targets
Customer satisfaction & quality control
Social media strategy and management: Blog posts, Forums, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
Competitor analysis, Market analysis and strategies Take initiatives to move the property towards an eco- friendly and sustainable environment
F & B Manager
Supervision of kitchen & staff, hiring of staff & training
Product inventory management & purchasing
Increase workflow and process efficiency
Increasing sales by promoting to corporate clients,
participating in fairs, social media & online marketing
Management of delivery services such as Uber & Pickme
Ultimate customer satisfaction & quality control
WHO WE ARE?
We are a small, 16 room, boutique style hotel located by the ocean in the capital city of Colombo, Sri Lanka..
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in hotel and F&B operations
- Energetic, very social and excellent PR skills
- Flexible in work hours
- Social media and online marketing skills (Preferable)
- High integrity and ethics
- Proficient in Computer Applications like Microsoft Office, SQL and MS Excel. Multimedia skills is a plus.
- English communication skills (Oral & Writing)
- Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or other multimedia skills. (Preferable)
- Cooking & kitchen hands on experience is a plus
- Other languages, mainly French or German language is a plus
