Providing basic information about restaurant services, operating hours and assisting with the scheduling of reservations
Welcoming guests
Maintaining clean and sanitised menus for guest use
Taking table orders
Refilling drinks as required
Rolling and replacing cutlery as required
Directing customers to the location of the restrooms
Clearing tables as guests finish their meals and setting up tables for next guests
Maintaining stocked serving stations with condiments, trays and napkins
Complying with all safety and sanitation procedures
Washing cutlery, plates, and dishes
Ensuring everything is in place before leaving the restaurant
Person Specification
Individuals preferably within 20 – 35 years of age
A minimum of 02 years of working experience in similar capacity
Ability to converse well in English
Preference to reside on location or boarding place
Skills to build healthy professional relationships with guests and other members of staff
Qualification in Hospitality (BSc or Hotel School equivalent) – ongoing or completed, would be an added advantage
