Mellow Hostel Ahangama seeks a part-time or freelance Quality Assurance Consultant to enhance operational standards and guest satisfaction. This crucial role involves coordinating staff, overseeing service quality, and improving procedures throughout our establishment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to teamwork and detail-oriented service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with on-site teams, including directors. managers, chefs, and other relevant employees to gather insights and information.

Develop comprehensive procedure lists and task delegation charts for each compartment space, addressing areas such as cleaning, reservation, maintenance, and cash flow.

Conduct interviews and assessments to understand the unique requirements and challenges of each department.

Establish and implement an internal audit system monthly to monitor and maintain quality standards.

Provide recommendations for improvement in areas identified during the auditing process.

QUALITY ASSURANCE CONSULTANT

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (Preferred not mandatory)

Proven experience in quality assurance or

consulting roles, preferably within the

hospitality sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Ability to work on-site for a few days as needed.

Flexibility to work part-time or on a freelance basis

Knowledge of local attractions, activities, and services in Ahangama and surrounding areas.

Background in the hospitality industry.

Knowledge of industry best practices in quality assurance.

• Experience in developing and implementing audit systems and SOPs.
