MANAGER – INTERNAL AUDITOR (TECHNICAL)

The purpose of the role is to provide inputs in preparation of the annual audit plan, assess technical risks.schedule and “execute” audit engagements and other tasks as assigned. This role may also lead the development, planning. implementation, preparation, compiling and/or maintenance of Internal Audit activities, such as the Annual Audit Risk Assessment, IA performance metrics, regulator requests, training initiatives, and management action plans.
The Role
•Provide recommendations on the audit findings, getting the management to agree on the recommendations and preparation of action plans,

• Present report to the management, follow up on the actions plans regularly and escalate if not followed by the management.
  Maintaining and taking ownership of all documents, evidence of the audit fieldwork, paperwork for quality
  assurance purpose.
• Working independently, receiving little instruction on day-to-day work, with general guidance on assignments. • Participate in management meetings by preparing presentation material, presenting information, and/or providing relevant feedback to attendees.
• Maintain technical competency concerning internal audit which leads to professional development of IA staff.
• Recommend changes to existing policies/ procedures and practices to enhance their effectiveness to meet the
  .
  business and cultural needs of the Company and enable good employee relations, employee communication, and equality of opportunity, participation, and teamwork.
• Support to Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment.
  The Person
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Power Plant Eng.).
• 6-8 years of experience in power and water utility sector including 4 years in operation and maintenance
  of plants and preferably with experience in Internal/External audits and/or Risk Management etc.
  ⚫IMS/ISO Certification Quality Management, Health Safety and Environmental Management strongly.
  preferred (or actively working towards earning a designation).
  ⚫ Broad working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP. ENGICA, PTW. MAXIMO or similar).
• Excellent skills in M.S. Office (Word, Excel, and Power point presentation).
• Excellent communication skills in English (writing and verbal).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and datasheet.
• Familiar with applicable ASME, ISO standards, other best practices, and codes.
• Basic level Project Management knowledge.
