Future Life witnessed the beginning of Future Life Investment in 2016, with a single place of operation in Gampaha, the micro-finance operation has grown into 50 places of operation and over 850 staff is handling over 95,000 customers covering the all most all the districts in the country within 7 years. Even though microfinancing is the core business of the company, FLi has commenced implementing its diversification strategy to explore new dimensions in Trading, Pharmaceutical, Travel & Leisure, Health Care, IT & Advertising to achieve its sole purpose; “Enrich Lives through mutually beneficial and respectful relationships”
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the internal audit strategy and plan, aligning with the overall business objectives and risk appetite.
Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans for subsidiaries, business units, and key functions across the group.
Provide independent and objective insights to the Board of Directors and Board Audit Committee (BAC) on control weaknesses, fraud risks, and operational inefficiencies.
Lead the internal audit team, fostering a culture of professionalism, ethical conduct, and
continuous learning.
Lead audit teams in performing risk-based, independent audits of financial controls, operational processes, compliance with regulations, and IT systems.
Clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and the Audit Committee in a timely and concise manner.
Provide insightful and actionable recommendations for improving organizational effectiveness and mitigating identified risks.
Write high-quality audit reports, memorandums, and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
Candidate’s profile:
Member or passed finalist in ICASL or any other professional body
Minimum 5 years’ experience in internal audit field (Mercantile sector or audit firm).
Hands-on experience in MS office and in the Micro finance field will be added advantage. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skill.
Committed team player with good communication skills.
Age should not more than 45 years and male candidates are encouraged to apply.
