Field Officer

We are an export oriented MNC processing of high value products for the food industry. We use local agricultural produce for our production requirements and are on the lookout for a suitable Field Officer to support an integrated program by being our eyes and ears on the ground in building an efficient and strong supply chain.

Then you maybe in line to fill in this position

Job Responsibilities:

Visit, farmers, collectors, sub collectors and gather information about availability, harvest time frames

Engage with farmers, collectors and stakeholders to establish efficient supply chains

Provide accurate feedback through field visits, surveys and timely reporting

Carry out project implementation on the ground and ensure required outcomes

Ensure suppliers/collectors adhere to prescribed raw material quality & conformance standards

Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s degree (Ideally agriculture related)

Possess a high level of integrity, morality and transparency

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently, travel extensively and not being limited by fixed hours

Ability to excise common sense and analytical approach when negotiating or qualifying material for

Minimum one-year prior field experience would be a plus

Must poses own motorbike

Should be medically fit to travel & work

✔Familiarity with locations in and around local spice fields would be useful
