The Sri Lanka Centre for Development Facilitation (SLCDF) is a non-profit, participatory development organization dedicated to supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable communities across Sri Lanka. As part of our new project commencing in 2025, which focuses on enhancing food security and promoting sustainable agriculture in the Monaragala and Badulla districts, we aim to empower communities to build resilience and improve their livelihoods. To achieve these goals, we are seeking dynamic and committed individuals to join our team in the following positions based in Monaragala and Badulla:
- Field Coordinator (1 Position)
Base Office: Monaragala
Qualifications:
GCE A/L or higher qualification, or diploma in Agriculture, Sociology, Community Development, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in field coordination, preferably in agriculture or community development projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation processes.
Proficiency in Sinhala, with working knowledge of English.
Knowledge of Uva Province’s socio-economic and agricultural context is an. advantage.
- Finance Assistant (1 Position)
Base Office: Badulla
Qualifications:
Part-qualified in a recognized professional body like the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or higher qualification.
: Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an asset.
Managing the process of calling for quotations from suppliers and vendors.
Handling advance settlements and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts
Supporting the finance team in day-to-day financial operations.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
