Panasian Power PLC is one of the fastest growing renewable energy companies listed in Colombo stock exchange and operating in multiple locations over 20 years in Sri Lanka. The company is experiencing a rapid growth in recent years as the country is moving towards sustainable practices of power generation from renewable sources. To support the growth, the company is looking for young and energetic engineers to manage the upcoming solar power and mini-hydro projects in Sri Lanka.

Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Designing of solar power electrical system with SLD’s and transmission lines of the proposed projects.

Electrical design, implementation and maintenance support to Mini-Hydro projects.

Meeting with prospective clients and propose most optimal design with minimal investment.

Maintain excellent relationship with key staff of CEB for project technical approvals.

Frequently make site and client visits around the country to provide the expert technical service.

Develop techno-commercial proposals for new projects and maintain a pipeline of upcoming projects.

Willingness to travel to project sites across the island to manage technical issues.

Qualifications and Experience

Possess a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed University in Sri Lanka or Overseas.

2-3 years of experience in electrical system design and experience in solar industry is highly desirable.

Willingness to advancement in technical field and to be the technical consultant of the company.

Excellent inter-personal, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.

Experience in solar projects would be highly desirable.
