CIVIL ENGINEER
Peace Lily Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a leading factory in Biyagama, Sri Lanka, specializing in manufacturing and exporting high-quality natural latex mattresses and organic bedding products to Australia, New Zealand, and the US, is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to our company’s growth. With new plants set to be located in Monaragala, Sri Lanka, this is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in our expansion efforts and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects primarily buildings, but also including roads, bridges, water, and sewage systems.
Carefully manage project BOQ, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitoring overall project progress and use of resources, initiating corrective actions when necessary
Lead and manage
Ensure that future expansions are taken into account to avoid future construction delays, restraints and impacts on effectiveness
Conduct site investigations and analyze data to inform project decisions.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure all project details with costings are clearly outlined for use with banks and other parties
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other organisations to ensure projects meet requirements.
Involve with all relevant building compliances and necessary approvals from the relevant authorities and departments.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and Sri Lanka Law and regulations.
Provide technical advice and support to project teams.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering
Experience in manufacturing civil works is beneficial but not essential
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
Experience in new building construction projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work individually to meet deadlines promptly and with great accuracy.
Knowledge of Google Drive & Slack would be advantageous.
