The Job Role

Cashier

Adhering to standard practices, you will manage and maintain company cash floats ensuring accuracy and completeness, supported by relevant approvals.

Following the approval matrix, you will accurately issue cash to staff members as required.

Maintaining and circulating an IOU list on a weekly basis, diligently monitoring and following up on outstanding amounts.

Facilitating the EDO (Expense Documentation and Organization) process by issuing receipts as required.

Executing cash deposits and withdrawals from banks in accordance with standard protocols and company guidelines.

Ensuring all cash collected during the day is promptly deposited within the same day, following prescribed guidelines.

Conducting thorough checks on all necessary controls when issuing cash or reimbursing expenses to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Verifying and managing online payments to ensure accuracy and security.

Skills and Experienced Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mercantile or retail environment, preferably in a cashiering or financial role.

Proven track record of handling cash transactions, maintaining accuracy, and providing excellent customer service.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in ERP systems (Dolphin) & MS office package.
