Assistant Accountant/ Accountant – Financial Reporting
Job Responsibilities
Finalization of Annual Audited Accounts and Annual Report (Financial and non-financial related sections) Finalization of Interim Financials along with the required notes
Involvement in Monthly Management Accounts and Other regulatory reports (Eg: CBSL, SEC, etc.)
In-charge of quantifying the impact of IFRS & Incorporating adjustments to the financials
Submission of Monthly Business Profitability information on a timely basis to the Management

• Development of Finance related systems & administration of IFRS system.
  Ensure that policies related to financial reporting are updated in a timely matter.
  Provide the required MIS by internal and external stakeholders (Eg: Business units, IRD, CBSL, Internal & External Auditors, etc.)
  Assist the tax units and submit required information
  Preparation of Budgets especially for Business Units.
  The Person
  Minimum of 06-07 years of experience in a Finance department of a licensed Bank / Finance company out of which at least 03 – 04 years in Financial Reporting including IFRS related computations.
  A passed finalist / Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka ), ACCA or CIMA or other qualifications in Finance will be an added advantage
  Excellent communication skills & strong IT literacy including proficiency in MS Office.
  Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines • Overall knowledge about branch operations.
