QA/Testing Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Test Planning and Strategy:

Ability to create test plans and strategies based on project requirements.

  • Defect Tracking:

Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes for reporting and managing issues (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

  • Experience in performance testing:

Tools like Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to ensure software scalability and responsiveness.

  • Knowledge of API:

Testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and understanding of API communication and validation.

  • Test Documentation:

Ability to create clear and comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or Diploma in computer science, information technology.

Understanding of various testing methodologies, including manual testing, automated testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
