Mellow Hostel Ahangama is looking for a female Guest Relations Officer to join our team. The role involves assisting in the coffee shop as a cashier, with a strong focus on upselling and cross-selling to enhance sales of shop products. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing exceptional guest relations at the reception, ensuring all visitors have a memorable experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively engage with customers to suggest additional items.

Serve as the first point of contact for guests.

Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Keep accurate records of sales transactions.

Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer demands.

Work collaboratively with team members.

Willingly take on additional responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Proficient in English with superior verbal communication skills

Experience in guest relations, hosting, sales, or similar roles is necessary

Excellent interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with a diverse clientele

Motivated by sales, skilled in persuasion and influence

Preference for female applicants aged 27 to 36

Competent in problem-solving with meticulous attention to detail

Efficient in a dynamic, fast-paced work setting

Possesses a positive demeanor and a strong commitment to exceptional customer service

Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
