Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) requires electricians for our member group. As Sri Lanka’s premier conference and event venue, BMICH is committed to providing world- class facilities and services, and to achieve this goal we require a talented workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling, evaluating electrical or electronic wiring, devices and equipment. Inspection and maintenance.
- Identify faults in the electrical system, troubleshoot and identify parts required to fix faults.
*Build and process parts using hand tools and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuits, blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
Identification of unusable equipment, repair of such equipment for reuse.
Qualifications and experience;
- Full- time qualification (NVQ 4 NVQ 3) in electrical engineering from a recognized professional institute
- Minimum three (3) years experience as an electrician in a recognized institution
- Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and troubleshooting equipment.
