We are looking for a Housekeeping Executive

Based at Fort Bazaar, Galle Fort

Responsibilities

Study and evaluate the operation of the Housekeeping Department and suggest Improvements to the top management

Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all the services offered by the housekeeping department and ensuring they are carried out as per the teardrop standards

Assign duties and responsibilities to subordinates and assist the housekeeping colleagues in their duties

Check the linen rooms and stores to ensure smooth flow of guest supplies, linen staff uniforms, chemical & operating equipment

• Schedule and monitor the cleaning of the room carpets, upholstery. windows, and draperies as needed, along with deep cleaning projects as necessary
• Ensure guest rooms are properly secured and the housekeeping staff

Utilises proper key control procedures

Organise inventories

Prerequisites

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

A creative person with a high degree of focus on quality

-Proven professional hospitality qualification is an added advantage
