About the role
We are currently seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing outstanding IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and Resolve IT Issues: Utilise your problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with colleagues across departments to diagnose and effectively address IT challenges.
Quality Assurance: Test software programs to identify and rectify defects and bugs, ensuring smooth software functionality.
Workload Prioritisation: Efficiently prioritise tasks to ensure critical IT issues are attended to promptly. Record Keeping: Diligently record and track tasks using our Service Desk Management system, maintaining accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions.
Documentation: Develop and document incident reports and standard support procedures, aiding in knowledge sharing and efficiency.
Emergency Support: Provide essential out-of-hours support in emergency situations, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding Support: Assist with the technical aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a seamless experience.
About the person
To succeed in this role you will require:
Recent ICT graduate with 1 to 2 years’ experience in a L1 IT support role or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
A team player with a customer-focused approach.
Willingness to provide after-hours support as needed.
