JOB ROLE
We are seeking for energetic, creative, dynamic and self-motivated individuals who could enhance the customer portfolio and bring in new business with new tech-driven and innovative ideas to join a shipping agency currently operating in Sri lanka.
RESPONSIBILITIES
.
Coordinating & corresponding shipments with customers, carriers & overseas partners.

• Maintain relationships with carriers and customers & provide exceptional customer service and attending to their queries on a timely manner.
  
  Lead the organization to a different league in the maritime industry by developing a stronger sales and marketing division.
  Communicate and follow-up with customers on the status of their shipments, deliveries and maintaining shipment tracking reports and market statistics.
  PREREQUISITES
  .
  Bachelor’s degree or diploma in shipping, business, marketing, freight and logistics or any equivalent professional qualification.
  2-3 years of experience in the field customer service, sales and marketing in the Liner shipping industry.
  .
  Possess a proven track record, excellent interpersonal skills.
  .
  Good team player and self-motivated with new tech-driven approach.
  .
  Excellent English communication skills in both spoken and written.
  .
  Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office package.
  Ability to work well under pressure.
